Festival Voices : Session 25.11.17

An evening of collaborative choral music from Festival Voices, featuring works by Arvo Pärt, Frank Martin and Henry Purcell. We’re calling it the first FV Session.

Pärt’s Magnificat and The Woman with the Alabaster Box are illuminated by bespoke lighting design, transforming aural colours into stunning visuals.

Martin’s Five Songs of Ariel are embodied by Paris-based mime artist Jason Ribes, who transforms the role of Shakespeare’s supernatural spirit into something rich and strange.

Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas is rescored with electronic music by producer and DJ Nico Bentley and the Pencil Collective.

We then dance til closing time, with a well-stocked bar, good company and great tunes. We can’t wait to see you there.
