Museum of London: Celebrate Your City

This weekend the Museum of London are presenting ‘Celebrate Your City’ a family festival aimed at challenging parents and their children’s knowledge of technology in London.

The Museum has also teamed up with tech giants Raspberry Pi and will transform the museum into a technology hub with opportunities to explore coding and GPS tracking through various workshops, storytelling sessions and craft activities.

Visitors will have the chance to become a digital maker and create amazing objects, from robots with blinking antenna to digital pixel pets and pieces of wearable technology. Families will be able to recreate buildings in London using iPads, go on a self-guided technology tour of the museum, and get involved in interactive story telling sessions.

For gamers young and old there will also be a vintage game corner where you can turn back the clock and play some vintage London video games. There’s literally something for everyone for everyone!
