Hackney Premiere of '1917: Why The Russian Revolution Matters'

We are delighted to invite you to an exclusive Gala Screening of WORLDwrite's new film, '1917: Why The Russian Revolution Matters' on Sunday November 26th at 12 noon.

In the film, humanity's greatest experiment in social change is brought to life through compelling interviews, incisive analysis and extraordinary archive. It explores the context, causes and consequences of ten days that shook the world and defined politics throughout the twentieth century.

Filmed to mark the centenary of the October Revolution, this documentary challenges ahistorical and myth-making approaches to this landmark event in history.

Please note that there will be a Q&A with Director Ceri Dingle and Special Guests after the film screening. Sunday lunch in a bun will also be available along with the cinema's splendid bar.
