With no answer to her application for resettlement, and every other path to safety closed off, a smuggler’s raft to Europe was the only way out for this single mother from Syria and her kids. 8 Borders, 8 Days is their story; the intimate details of why a mother is willing to risk her children’s lives for a better future and an immersive experience of their eight-day journey to safety.

This one-off screening, followed by a panel discussion with director Amanda Bailly and guests, is sponsored by Ben & Jerry's and IRC, as part of the Together4Refugees campaign, and NaTakallam. There will be free Ben & Jerry's ice cream at the screening!
