Indie Kids' Kids - Putney Edition

After the success of our launch weekend in February Indie Kids' Kids is returning to the Half Moon in Putney!

Like it or not, all indie kids have to grow up. Those floppy fringes grow a little greyer and shorter and it becomes a little harder to slip in to that Fred Perry shirt or retro dress of yesteryear.
Then along come the kids and any ideas of pulling shapes like Jarvis Cocker and Karen O. or acting louche like Julian Casablancas again are cast aside for good.

Well perhaps not forever as now Indie Kids’ Kids offers you you the chance to re-live those best of days alongside the fruit of your loins. Introduce your little ones to the delights of pogoing or cutting some rug to some classic cuts from back in the day.

Brought to you by the people behind Feeling Gloomy, who have ploughed the indie furrow for over twelve and half years (both here in London and New York) and laid down the tunes at numerous festivals. Join Cliff Gloom and his merry band of indie boys and girls for an afternoon of dancing and interactive fun and games.

We’ll be taking in anything from Britpop, to a bit of soul, rock n roll up to the latest almost chart troubling indie tunes. Expect to hear things by Blur, Little Richard, The White Stripes, James, Arctic Monkeys, Pulp, The Clash, The Jam, New Order, The Cure and other choice cuts.

For safety reasons we ask the following rules must be respected:

- All children must be accompanied by an adult (18+). No adults will be allowed to enter without a child even if they have pre-purchased a ticket.

- There is a maximum limit of 3 children per adult (18+) and, vice versa, a single child must not have more that 3 adults (18+) accompanying them.

- Music will be kept to a safe level but please bring your own ear defenders for your child if you wish.

- If you take photographs please respect other people's privacy and ask parental consent if any other children feature in your photos or movies.

- The venue is fully licensed so alcohol will be available from the bar but anyone deemed to be inebriated will be asked to leave on safety grounds. Obviously only over 18s will be allowed to buy and consume alcohol.

- Non-walking babies are welcome (free of charge) but we advise the use of baby slings and carriers.

- There is limited buggy parking facilities at the venues.
