As part of Merchant Square's 'Summer of Fun' programme, a series of free gigs called ‘Sunset Sessions’ are set to take place at Paddington Basin.

Every Thursday at 5.30pm passers-by can enjoy live music, including a couple of special guest appearances at 6.30pm from the Amazons and Modern Strangers, who are signed to BMG: The New Music Company.

The gigs are free and ticketless, just turn up and grab a spot on the Floating Pocket Park. The Sunset Sessions will also be showcasing new unsigned talent in partnership with Busk In London.

The 120 person capacity outdoor space is the perfect setting for watching the sun set over London whilst listening to live music performed by the newest talent:

Merchant Square boasts a popup street food market every Thursday until 10pm for hungry gig goers, plus a range of eateries and food retailers all set beside London’s Grand Union canal.

With free WiFi throughout the park, audiences can upload content without fear of using up all their 3G data allowance.
