A Bit of A Do is Drunken Chorus’ thrilling, inclusive three-day celebration of unique new theatre, dance and comedy hosted by DISCO DISCO Croydon's theatre company for artists with learning disabilities.
The FREE mini-festival features comedy from TANYALEE DAVIS (Live at TheApollo, Abnormally Funny People), a guest performance from Olivier Award Winner and cult cabaret performer URSULA MARTINEZ (La Soiree/La Clique, Duckie, Edinburgh Fringe, Barbican, Hanky Panky” cabaret striptease) and new theatre from the head-turning Unlimited-commissioned artist ABY WATSON among many others.
With performances by a whole cast of artists and companies with and without disabilities, Front of House provided by a team of ten with learning disabilities trained exclusively for the festival by Willow Learning for Life and Mencap, British Sign Language interpretation and and communication assistance and a range of craft beers brewed by adults with learning disabilities under the mentorship of social enterprise Ignition Brewery, A Bit of Do may be one of the most inclusive festivals London has ever seen!
