Scrabble 70th Anniversary Exhibition & World Championship Final

Scrabble invites you to celebrate how words and language have evolved over its 70-year history with an immersive, free pop-up experience in the lower ground atrium of Westfield City on Sunday 28th October from 12-8pm.

Walk through seven huge Scrabble cubed tiles to discover a visual history of Scrabble and it’s fun use in pop culture through films, TV and by celebrity fans.

Scrabble celebrates how new additions to the English language make for surprising Scrabble play, while you can vote for which word you want to see included in the next Scrabble dictionary.

The exhibition also questions what innovation Scrabble can look forward to, with the futuristic Space Edition Scrabble, made from meteoritic rock and magnetic tiles to defy gravity.

A transparent cubed tile will also show the World Scrabble Championship Finale live at 12pm as the two best players in the world go head to head to take the trophy. Fans will also get the opportunity to play against a former World Champion.
