Brian McFadden (born 12th April 1980) is a singer-songwriter and TV Presenter from Ireland. He began his singing career as a member of the boyband “Westlife” in 1998, during which time they achieved twelve number one hit singles, including “Flying without Wings” and “World of Our Own”.

Brian left the group in 2004 to pursue his solo career. He released his debut album “Irish Son”, with the first single from the album “Real to Me” reaching the No.1 spot. In 2005, his third single “Almost Here”, a duet with singer Delta Goodrem, became another No.1 hit and went platinum.

Brian continued writing songs for other artists, such as Girls Aloud. In 2006, he co-wrote “Together We Are One”, the theme song for the Commonwealth Games.

In 2007, Brian set up his own record label and “Like Only a Woman Can” became his third Irish No.1.

The following year Brian moved to Australia, where he released his second album “Set in Stone”. During the same year, he became a television presenter hosting “Football Superstar” and a guest judge on Australian Idol. McFadden also took on the role of a breakfast show radio presenter on 2DayFM.

In 2010, Brian released a single featuring American rapper Kevin Rudolf, “Just Say So”. It went straight in at No.1 in the Australian charts and spent 10 weeks in the top 10. It also received a nomination at the ARIA Music Awards for Most Popular Single.

Following the success in 2010, McFadden brought out “Wall of Soundz”, his third studio album, which featured collaborations with Christian Lo Russo and Delta Goodrem. In addition, Brian became a judge on “Australia’s Got Talent” for three series.

Brian released his fourth album in 2013. “The Irish Connection”, featured interpretations of some of his favourite Irish songs, including “All I Want Is You”, a duet with Ronan Keating. He also joined Ronan for his 2013 UK Tour.

In 2016, Brian formed a group with former Boyzone member Keith Duffy, the group is known as “Boyzlife” and together they have toured around the world, performing some of their greatest hits.

Brian is currently working on brand-new solo concept. He is recording and producing a new album collection of soul classics featuring special guests. The first in the series will be released at the end of October 2018 and will be a tribute to soul legend, Otis Redding. The albums will run alongside his new live shows.

In November, Brian will be embarking on a full live tour “Brian McFadden - Soul Jam”, which will see him backed by a full nine-piece band. He will be performing tributes to the great soul artists such as Otis Redding, Ray Charles and Eddie Floyd and will, of course, include Westlife hits in the set.

Brian has been putting this project together for a while. He is excited about going back to his love of old-school soul. It will showcase the strength and versatility of his voice at it’s very best.
