The fair, now in its third year, is taking place at Kensington Town Hall and will comprise over 100 stalls of antique dolls, teddy bears and toys dating from 18th century to mid-20th century with prices from £10 to £10,000 – it will be a must for all collectors as well as those who are nostalgic for their childhood days and want to buy a single item to display at home or give as a special Christmas gift.

One of the highlights will be an exhibition of First World War related toys, dolls and soft toys, to commemorate the Centenary of the end of World War One.

The exhibition will include fabulous early examples such as; Edwin, 'soldier' teddy bear which was found in the breast pocket of soldier Percy Kynnersley-Baddlely who was killed in the Battle of the Somme in 1916 - the bear was returned to his young wife along with his personal affects; a Dean's Rag Book Co. printed cloth Royal Flying Corps doll, pre- RAF - circa 1917; and a 1st World War Burnett (British) clockwork tinplate armoured car.

Other attractions will include a Farnell 'Old Bill' –a doll of an old male soldier and the most famous cartoon character by humourist of the time Bruce Bairnsfather as well as a Harwin Russian Cossack felt doll.

There’ll also be talks including Caroline Schwarz speaking about the history of the man behind FAO Schwarz, the oldest toy shop in America, as well as the history of the store and toys from the 19th century to the 1950s.

In addition to the fair, seminars in association with the Doll Club of Great Britain and a Gala dinner will take place on Saturday 17th November.
