Mark Watson's Comedy Marathon

Famed comedian and novelist Mark Watson has announced his 26.2 hours Comedy Marathon event with Audible, to celebrate the launch of his new Audible original podcast, Mark Watson’s Comedy Marathon.

Mark Watson and a team of similarly unwise people revive one of modern comedy's most beloved and stupid traditions. A 26.2-hour show to launch Mark’s new podcast as part of Audible’s sponsorship of the Virgin Money London Marathon. Guests can attend for the full 26.2 hours (or for however long they can last) and help Mark make it to the end of his epic Comedy Marathon.

All ticket proceeds will be donated to the Dementia Revolution, a joint campaign run by charities Alzheimer’s Society and Alzheimer’s Research UK as Charity of the Year for the 2019 Virgin Money London Marathon.

Tickets (£26.20 p.p) are valid for the whole 26.2 hour show, but please note: if you leave the venue for longer than one hour, your ticket may be resold and re-entry to the room will then only be possible when space permits. The starting pistol for the Comedy Marathon will fire at 9:48pm and finish 26.2 hours later.

Mark’s previous nights of chaotic madness have seen the likes of Gillian Anderson paying a surprise visit to the venue and ending up shaving someone’s back using hummus as shaving cream. Other hysterical moments include, Russell Brand and Miranda Hart driving an ice-cream van into the venue and treating the audience and all the challengers to refreshments. Anything could happen on the night!
