EXPOSED!

The Peculiar Photographic Revelations of a Victorian Eccentric.

Step back into a very unconventional nineteenth century, with tales of the bizarre world of Victorian eccentric, and photographer, Samuel Heracles Gascoigne-Simpson.

The artist's grandson, Nick Simpson, invites you to revel in the outlandish splendour of a true Victorian eccentric's photographic imagination . Steam powered stories take you on a journey of fantastic inventions, nurdling, nadgering, grebes, pork pies and the infamous Bumforth Manor soirees.

Nick Simpson is a British award-winning photographer, creative story teller, and custodian of Samuel Heracles Gascoigne Simpson’s secrets.
