Josie Long: Tender (Preview)

Three-time Edinburgh Comedy Award nominee and very hard to pin down indie-underdog-nightmare Josie Long is back with a new show for the first time in five years. It's about the mind-bending intensity of new motherhood, but mostly about kindness, gentleness, and joy. All in all, the edgiest thing you will see this Fringe. The aim is for you to come out of it feeling optimistic about the future, although that's a big ask. At the very least there will be some really silly voices, and that’s not nothing. **** 'Brilliantly evocative, an original and unflagging spirit' (Times).

Erich McElroy: Radical Centrist (Preview)

With politics moving to extremes and into every aspect of our lives, Erich McElroy finds another way. The only true centrist comedian at the Fringe, Erich is rising up to demand incremental change and reasoned debate. He’s crossing over the left/right divide in a way that’ll make you stop – or at least slow down. Heard on BBC's Breaking the News, Radio 4’s Moral Maze and seen on BBC Breakfast, Good Morning Britain, and Sky News. 'Stand-up at its best' ***** (BroadwayBaby.com). 'The pace never dips and the jokes land every time' **** (TheWeeReview.com).

Every year, thousands of comics bring comedy shows to the internationally known Edinburgh Fringe Festival. But those shows need to be tweaked and refined, honed and perfected...and that's happening at Laugh Train Home. Don't miss this behind-the-scenes unique opportunity to see these Work in Progress shows. This is how live stand-up comedy is put together. ?
PLEASE NOTE: We bring the best acts from the UK. But they are also real people. As such, it is rare, but our line-ups are subject to change - family emergencies and last minute TV filming does happen. We will tweet and Facebook any changes we have.
