International Busking Day, the world's largest celebration of street performance, returns to Wembley Park on Saturday 20 July 2019. The all-day family-friendly event will run from 12.00-20.00, with five stages of free music and entertainment.

International Busking Day is a celebration of busking and street acts, created and managed by Busk in London, and supported by the Mayor of London. The day features performances by both international and home-grown busking talent. For 2019, the entertainment will take place across Wembley Park, with key locations including the Main Stage on Olympic Way; the Breakthrough Stage at Market Square showcasing the best in rising talent; and the Community Stage hosted by The Yellow at the top of Wembley Boulevard.

Last year’s International Busking Day was launched by music icon and multiple Grammy award-winning composer, producer and guitarist Nile Rodgers. The line-up also featured performances by an array of talent, including double platinum singer-songwriter Newton Faulkner and UK Top 40 pop sensation Nina Nesbitt.

Confirmed acts so far include singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Hattie Briggs, who was discovered by platinum-selling tenor singer, Alfie Boe while she was busking at Paddington Station; folk pop singer-songwriter Lucy May Walker, spotted by BBC Radio 2 presenter Jeremy Vine busking at Charing Cross station; singer-songwriter Sherika Sherard, who supported Seal on tour in London and Brussels; musician and singer-songwriter Josh Greaves who is collaborating with multi-platinum song-writing team Steve Balsamo and Ben Robbins; singer-songwriter Robbie Boyd who is set to release his third album, Time Will Tell in July; and performer Bethzienna Williams, finalist on this year’s The Voice.

Further details and talent to be announced.

Further activity will happen across Wembley Park, including a series of In Conversation with… talks at The Corner, performances on the Boxpark Wembley Stage throughout the day and events into the night as Boxpark hosts the official after festival party.
