East Village Summer Fete

The East Village Summer Fete is back, this year with a seaside theme…

On Saturday 13 July from 12pm to 5pm, Victory Park and Victory Parade will be buzzing with traditional summer fete activities and games as well as seaside favourites Donkey Derby, Coconut Shy and Hoopla.

Come down and relax in giant deck chairs or capture a summer selfie in a boat that will be moored up in E20 for the day. Play beach ball volleyball in Victory Park with Our Parks or take on a penalty shoot-out challenge with the E20 Football Foundation as part of a number of sporting and wellness activities being put on around the neighbourhood.

Performing throughout the afternoon will be the incredible Rogue Symphony. The 13 piece orchestra which has been taking over the UK’s live music scene and has residency at Shoreditch’s XOYO will be playing the greatest hits by Beyonce and Destiny's Child.

There’ll be ice cream (of course), 500 FREE candy floss sticks as well as street food stalls, a pop-up craft beer bar and a prosecco van.

This FREE community event is being organised by Get Living, which offers homes for rent in East Village, and is open to all ages.
