Headteacher Conference - "Education for the Soul" Conference

At Integrity Coaching, our mission is to help all school leaders not just survive in their role, but thrive.

We want all school leaders to be able to rise above the challenges of their role and maintain their ability to lead and inspire others. Sadly, we have seen how over the last few years, increased levels of personal accountability and public scrutiny have resulted in increased levels of stress across the profession and growing numbers of talented school leaders leaving headship early.

As part of our attempt to address this crisis, we have begun to host annual “Education for the Soul" Conferences. These provide a safe, collegial space where Heads can explore the challenges and emotional demands of school leadership and locate solutions that can help them to build their resilience, support their well-being and keep their hope alive.

Following the success of these events, on the 17th October 2019 we will host our 3rd Education for the Soul” Conference, around the theme of “Inspiring Authentic School Leadership.”

The conference will include workshops led by Integrity Coaching Associates and keynotes from authors, speakers and storytellers such as Lemn Sissay, James Pope and Kevin Graal who will explore what authenticity means in the life of a school leader today and how leaders can stay true to who they are, their values, passion and purpose.

Above all, the day will create a safe and collegial meeting space where school leaders can...

- Talk honestly about the unique challenges facing them and the impact of leading in our schools today

- Share experience and expertise with fellow like-minded school leaders

- Reflect on their personal leadership journey and how this has informed the leader they are today

- Feel encouraged and empowered to respond to the issues they face
