Experience the magic of the holidays and step into a Winter Wonderland at The County Arms in Wandsworth’s enchanted winter garden. Inspired by classic tales, this charming local pub has been completely transformed into a snow-filled winter forest with frost-covered pine trees, snow-topped tables, woodland features, fairy lights and lanterns, plus a pop-up hot toddy bar to keep Jack Frost at bay.

Enter through the ‘wardrobe’ into the heated garden and head to the Guilty Pleasure Bar where an array of Christmas cocktails, hot toddies and non-alcoholic winter warmers await, from Hayman’s Hot Gin to Glenlivet toddies and hot chocolate, with or without a shot of something stronger. Groups can meander over to Mr T’s Lodge – a magical enclave featuring silver birch, comfy sofas and faux fur pillows, perfect for reservations of up to 8 seated.

For get-togethers, fit for kings and queens, the covered deck has been converted into a ‘Royal Great Hall’ complete with faux fur blankets, throne-style seating, dramatic candelabras, opulent gold crockery and glassware, plus forest foliage. Ideal for festive banquets, book a table or hire exclusively for drink receptions for up to 30 seated and 50 standing.

'Experience the Chronicles' with a welcome Hayman's hot mulled apple gin, followed by a gooey cheese fondue and British charcuterie board or pastry snowflake topped slow braised rib of beef hot pot, all finished off with a signature hot chocolate with Frangelico or a bottle of beer for just £30 per person.

Fancy pushing the sleigh out and joining in the spirit of sharing? The County Arms also offers generous festive sharing boards. Meat-lovers and vegans alike are in luck this Christmas with boards including Roast Pumpkin and Chestnut Tarts and Suffolk Salami. Skipping straight to pudding? The Mince Pie party board is perfect for those with a sweet tooth.

Winter will pass so get to ‘The Chronicles of The County Arms’ as soon as you can. The pop-up is open now until the end of January 2020. See you there!
