To coincide with Donna’s first solo exhibition, The Exhausted Student, she and Jennifer will discuss the themes in her work and the making of the exhibition.

Donna Huddleston studied Theatre Design at National Institute of Dramatic Art, Sydney, Australia in 1997 and Fine Art at National Art School, Sydney, Australia, 1994. Group exhibitions include: Transitional Drawing, Charles Asprey/Tyers Street; Out of This World, Stephen Friedman Gallery; The Critic as Artist, Reading Museum, Reading International 2017/18; Dreamers Awake, White Cube Gallery, London 2017; Show Window, Kate Mcgarry Gallery London; Making and Unmaking, curated by Duro Olowu, Camden Arts Centre in 2016; Interstellar, curated by Michael Bracewell, Isabella Bortolozzi Gallery, Berlin; One Day something happens, curated by Jennifer Higgie, Leeds Art Gallery and touring 2015 -2016.

Jennifer Higgie is Editor-at-large at? frieze ?magazine and the writer and presenter of a podcast about women in art history ?Bow Down; ?she also writes screenplays and is the author and illustrator of the children’s book ?There’s Not One. Her book? The Mirror and the Palette,? on ?historic ?self-portraits by women, will be published in 2021.
