Adrian Tinniswood OBE, writer and historian with Opera Prelude’s young artists.

The British public has always been intrigued by the inner workings of the royal family! Adrian Tinniswood's handsomely produced ""Behind the Throne"" is a wonderfully entertaining account of life through five centuries of royal households and a succession of families that are entirely unlike and yet uncannily similar to our own, hence the enduring fascination. The long and tumultuous history of the Royal family has inspired a raft of composers, and Opera Prelude’s young artists will complement Adrian’s talk in a variety of numbers that celebrate the British Monarchy and our country’s royal heritage.

Opera Prelude is a small charity passionate about supporting young professional opera singers who give recitals in London. These friendly and inclusive events will introduce you to the international opera singers of tomorrow by way of recitals, concerts and masterclasses.
