Can you pace out a parrot in your local park? Or draw out a dinosaur in the centre of town?
Join the virtual Race for Nature and raise money for a future where both people and the planet can thrive.
This year we want to challenge you to complete the Race for Nature in your local habitat. Instead of a dash to the finish line, we want to see what creatures you can draw with the mapped path of your route.
The event is free to take part and there will be prizes for those who hit our fundraising targets. Every step you take, each animal you create and each £1 you raise helps protect our planet!
Run, walk, jog or wheel and see what you can create. If you can, use a route tracing app to record the route you are pacing out (Strava and Map My Run are good examples).
Share your movement masterpieces with us using #RaceForNature to be in with a chance of featuring on our social media and winning special Museum prizes.
Entrants of all abilities are welcome to join and you can take part alone or as part of your pack. As a runner, you will receive emails filled with fundraising tips, training advice and costume ideas in the lead up to the event.
