Dancing City returns to Canary Wharf to celebrate Greenwich+Docklands International Festival’s 25th birthday!

Over the years Dancing City has presented the highest quality UK and international outdoor dance productions, building an audience that has come to appreciate its very European style of presentation, maximising the impact of the performances by contextualising them in stunning architectural settings. This year sees Dancing City reimagined in a new and exciting way.

GDIF’s annual outdoor dance programme has been reinvented for you to experience more intimate performances and observing social distancing. Whilst still making the most of Canary Wharf’s fantastic alfresco piazzas and landscapes, this year’s Dancing City, sets out to prove that small can be beautiful.
