We Found Love in the 80s: Virtual premier of short film by Dawinder Bansal & Martyn Ware

Acclaimed British artist Dawinder Bansal (Asian Women & Cars: Road to Independence, Jambo Cinema, and Making of a South Asian Wedding) and producer Martyn Ware (Human League, Heaven 17) have paired up to create We Found Love In The 80s, a film celebrating couples who met in that decade, and exploring how they overcame obstacles to be together.

The film is part of Leytonstone Loves Film, a festival running from 16 September to 4 October, produced by the Barbican in partnership with local residents and organisations and commissioned by the London Borough of Waltham Forest.
