Campo Viejo, the UK’s No. 1 Spanish wine brand1, is announcing a new supper club “Raise Your Glass High”, to celebrate the launch of its Winemakers’ Blend, a wine created by Campo Viejo’s talented female winemakers. The virtual event hosted by The Sister Table, on 31st March, combines inspirational women, a specially curated food menu and an exclusive wine tasting with Campo Viejo’s chief winemakers Elena Suárez and Elena Adell.

In collaboration with Benjamina and Bonita Ebuehi, the duo behind The Sister Table, The Receipts Podcast and Apprentice 2018 winner, Sian Gabbidon, the event will allow a community of like-minded people to come together to discuss sisterhood, business progression, passion and creativity.

Guests will benefit from a sneak preview of Campo Viejo’s Winemakers’ Blend – a bold new fusion of Tempranillo, Garnacha and Bobal, sourced from the oldest vines in Spain to create the highest quality wine that combines the most vibrant expressions of Spain. The wine is an expert collaboration of the brand’s three winemakers: Elena Suarez, Irene Perez and Elena Adell.

Campo Viejo has also partnered with The Sister Table to curate a simple yet delicious food pairing menu to enhance and complement the new wine. The menu includes traditional Spanish cured meats, Pan con tomate and Padrón Peppers with sea salt as well as more unusual pairings, such as Shakshuka with an alternative vegan menu option also available at checkout.

Speaking about sisterhood, friendships and female empowerment will be none other than hosts of The Receipts Podcast – Tolly Shoneye, Audrey Indome and Milena Sanchez. The trio’s hugely successful podcast was the third most listened to in the UK last year, discussing everything from relationships to sisterhood and what it’s like for a woman excelling in business.

Joining them at the virtual table will be Sian Gabbidon, Apprentice winner in 2018 and partner to Lord Alan Sugar, who has successfully launched her own lingerie brand Sian Marie. Sian will provide insights on how to champion oneself in male-dominated industries, without losing sight of yourself as a woman.

Whether looking for something to liven up your evening, create a shareable cosy night with your partner or flatmate, or as a thoughtful surprise gift idea – Campo Viejo has got you covered. Tickets cost £25 and can be purchased via DesignMyNight, with all proceeds donated to Smart Works, a women’s charity which provides clothing and interview training to out-of-work women, to help them get back on the career ladder.

Included in the ticket price is a Campo Viejo Winemakers’ Blend kit containing everything needed for this exclusive supper club experience, which will be delivered directly to all ticketholders before the event. In these kits, guests will be provided with a bottle of Campo Viejo Winemakers’ Blend for sharing and all the ingredients to prepare the tapas. Don’t worry if you’re not a renowned chef, the box will contain step-by-step recipes depending on the menu option chosen at checkout. What’s more, Campo Viejo has partnered with The Sister Table to create the ultimate music playlist and hosting tips, to help bring your at-home foodie experience to the next level. All guests will receive a ‘Hosting with The Sister Table’ card and QR-enabled music playlist alongside their boxes.

Lucy Bearman, Wine Portfolio Director at Pernod Ricard, says: “There is no better way to celebrate the achievement of collaboration, which has delivered the new Campo Viejo Winemakers’ Blend than with an exclusive evening of wine, delicious food and talks, by inspiring women. The ‘Raise Your Glass High’ supper club is sure to be an enjoyable, challenging and spirited event, where we’re giving guests the opportunity to taste our new wine before it launches in stores, and we are thrilled to have The Sister Table, Sian Gabbidon and The Receipts podcast on board to celebrate with us.”
