There will be an outdoor socially distanced Easter Bunny Hunt on 2nd April (Good Friday) at Merchant Square, Paddington. Easter themed carrot icons will be hidden around Paddington Basin for you to find.
Using your free map to guide you, simply take a photo of each carrot you find on your smartphone and show the events team when you return to the registration desk. Find 15 or more (out of a possible 20) to win a Merchant Square chocolate bunny.
Music lovers can enjoy live performances from local Busk in London musicians. Sing along or dance at the fountain area or simply relax on the lawns or amphitheatre steps.
Architecture and engineering fans can watch two award winning bridges lift at Paddington Basin; The Heatherwick Rolling Bridge at 12.30pm and The Fan Bridge at 1.30pm. Time-lapse cameras at the ready to film this spectacle.
If you’re peckish there’s delicious, fresh street food located in the West Plaza; Mexican street food from Hola Guacamole, Chinese comfort food from Rice Guys, and handmade salad wraps from Simply Falafel. There’s also take away from family favourite Pizza Express and lots of distanced deck chairs along the waterfront to sit and eat.
