It’s all aboard Southern Comfort’s Pride boat party, teaming up with Sink The Pink, the largest LGBTQ+ collective and club night in the UK. Southern Comfort, the unique spirit of New Orleans, is proudly supporting Pride in London’s Unity Fund with a fun-filled celebration on London’s iconic river Thames on Saturday 11th, 2021.

The announcement comes as part of a wider commitment to drive positive change in the lives of London’s LGBTQ+ communities, as Southern Comfort is pledging to donate £1 from every Southern Comfort limited edition Pride bottle sold, available nationwide in selected Grocery stores, to The Unity Fund – an initiative created by ‘Pride in London’ to provide funding to grassroots organisations who address the needs of the UK's LGBTQ+ community.

Hosted on a vintage Mississippi paddle steamer boat, the floating Pride party promises to be an immersive celebration of self-expression and togetherness, with a two-hour cruise along the Thames packed with music, food and drink inspired by Southern Comfort’s vibrant hometown of New Orleans, a city like no other, where everyone is welcome and where Pride thrives year-round.

Setting sail at 11:30am, the event will be the perfect way for London partygoers to celebrate Pride. Onboard, fun-loving guests will journey through the heart of the capital, whilst dancing away to DJ sets from Melanie Blatt, Mark-Ashley Dupé and Raven Mandella. There will also be performances from London's finest Voguing crews and Drag Queens from Sink The Pink – the LGTBQ+ collective known for continuously challenging the status quo around nightlife and celebrating freedom of self-expression.

Fuelling the fun will be an irresistible array of Southern Comfort cocktails, including the slushie favourites – ‘Southern Passion’ and ‘Sour Cherry.’ An authentic New Orleans-inspired food menu will be served throughout the experience, including fried chicken, mac & cheese and vegan Cajun gumbo.

Southern Comfort’s Pride Boat Party, with Sink the Pink, is set to inject a true dose of New Orleans spirit into the UK. Tickets are available now via: southerncomfortmardigras.uk
at £25.00 (subject to booking fee), including a complimentary Southern Comfort cocktail and ready-to-drink pre-mixed can to be redeemed on entry, plus a choice of food from the New Orleans-inspired menu.
