Join us for this open and funny conversation with journalist and broadcaster Pandora Sykes as they talk about the power of creativity to help deal with the anxieties of modern life.

Jessie will be selling and signing copies of Sunset at the end of the evening and a free copy of the book will be up for grabs for the first 10 people in the room.

ABOUT Jessie Cave

Jessie Cave is a talented actress, writer and illustrator who is best known for playing Lavender Brown in the Harry Potter films. She is also a brilliant stand-up comedian and illustrator who is known for her open, funny and truthful accounts of real life, love, loss and everything in between.

Jessie’s podcast series with her sister Bebe, We Can’t Talk About That Right Now, was a breakout hit in 2020 and her highly anticipated first novel, Sunset made The Sunday Times Top 10 Bestseller list and has sold to widespread critical acclaim.

ABOUT Pandora Sykes

Pandora Sykes is a journalist and broadcaster, she focuses on popular culture, lifestyle, books and social commentary and has written for titles including The Sunday Times, Vogue, The Observer, GQ, ELLE, The Cut, Red and Grazia. Before going freelance in 2017, she was the Fashion Features Editor at The Sunday Times Style. In July 2020, How Do We Know We’re Doing It Right?, her debut essay collection about modern life, was published by Penguin Random House and was a Sunday Times bestseller.

Spending most of her time making podcasts, Pandora was the co-creator and co-host of the No.1 women’s podcast, The High Low, and she is the host of The Missing, a podcast about long-term missing people, which was nominated for a British Podcast Award. She has also produced an interview series, Doing It Right, about the trends, myths and anxieties of modern life.
