Hannah will be exploring how devices, online communities and apps can help us overcome social isolation through the ability to connect with like-minded people and curate a strong support network. The talk is part of Samsung’s ongoing Solve for Tomorrow programme, which examines the role of technology across a range of issues faced by today’s consumers. Issues such as education, sustainability, diversity & inclusivity and social isolation. Hannah concludes this year’s Future Talk series - ahead of the 2021 competition launch on 1st November - and follows in the footsteps of previous speakers Steven Bartlett of Social Chain, George Lamb and The Receipts Podcast.

A creator of online content for over ten years, Hannah, is well known for her own brand of personal and intimate campaigning, turning the unusual into the inclusive. Throughout her career she has harnessed social media to encourage fans to share their own life challenges. Doing so by transparently sharing her own journey living with a stoma after having been diagnosed with the inflammatory bowel disease, Ulcerative Colitis.

For those who can’t make the event, the talk will be available to watch again via Samsung.com later in the month.
