To celebrate 20 years of Asda’s Extra Special range, the world’s first Ready Meal Restaurant is opening free of charge in London on Thursday 21st October, serving only Extra Special ready meals like you’ve never seen them before.
This exquisite eight-course tasting menu, inspired by Asda’s Extra Special ready meals and accompaniments, will be plated with fine dining flair and finesse by Asda’s Innovation Chef Andrew Johnston and his team.
Situated at Amber in trendy east London, lucky diners will be able to tuck into beautifully presented Slow Cooked Ox Cheek served with Ruddles Ale, Moroccan Lamb Koftas with Spiced Tomato, Apricot and Chickpea, Korean BBQ Beef with Shichimi and Sticky Rice and Salmon with Crispy Capers. Extra flourishes and touches are provided by other accompaniments and ingredients found in the Extra Special range, all of which will be paired with a refreshing selection of Extra Special wines.
Guests won’t want to miss the chance to sample this exclusive menu, open for one lunch and one dinner sitting only.
