Deliveroo opens free Fleet Street “Body parts” Pie shop for Halloween weekend

To celebrate the spookiest moment in everyone's calendar, Deliveroo has launched a Demonic Butchery and Pie Emporium that will open its doors just in time for Halloween, giving away free pies featuring “body parts”.

Those with a beady eye (literally) will spot a few spooky surprises in the pies, with “body parts” made out of savoury fondant poking out of the top, paying homage to Fleet Street’s frightening and infamous history. From eyes, to bones and thumbs, Deliveroo has created a daunting but delicious experience leaving visitors terrified, but eager for more.

Located in the heart of the capital, the pie shop will serve “body parts” pies from Friday 29th October until Halloween on October 31st, and for those wanting to try one of these hot, delicious and devilish pies, they’ll need to scream loud enough for the hatch to hear and open. If their screams succeed, a pie will magically appear.

The “body parts” pie shop will have punters drooling for more while making their skin crawl, thanks to delicious fillings such as:
Beef, bone marrow & stout
Chicken, smoked ham hock and leek
Potato, caramelised onion & cheddar (vegan)


A Deliveroo spokesperson said, “The scariest season of the year has arrived, and we’re thrilled to be launching Fleet Street’s most spook-tacular food pop-up to celebrate. Halloween was cancelled last year, we wanted to pull out all the stops this year and give customers a hearty food experience they’ll never forget. If you’ve got the guts, come down to Fleet Street this Halloween weekend - scream loud enough and you may even get yourself a free pie so delicious it will make your spine tingle!”

Those unable to venture to Fleet Street to get a free pie can still sink their teeth into these pies by ordering a “body-parts pie” via the Deliveroo app and ordering from one of the Deliveroo Editions kitchens.

Available in London, Manchester and Bristol for a bargain £1.75, a nod to the 175 years since the famous murdering barber graced the pages of the publication ‘The Penny Dreadful’. - bon-e appetit!
