Marylebone Winter Garden

November 2021: This Christmas will see Portman Square Garden transformed into a magical ‘Winter Garden’ from Wednesday 1st December until Friday 3rd December, from 12pm until 8pm each day’.
The Marylebone Winter Garden will display an enchanting selection of winter dining experiences with some of Portman Marylebone’s favourite restaurants and cafes hosting stalls offering guests the chance to try new Christmas menus and enjoy festive favourites.
An array of food and drink stalls will be throughout the winter garden where visitors can enjoy a glass of wine from independent wine merchants Philgas & Swiggot who will be serving a variety of wines from across the globe. Much loved Chiltern Street Deli will be dishing up obligatory glasses of mulled wine and winter warmers including gingerbread lattes.
For those unable to travel home for the festive season, Aussie favourite Daisy Green will be offering Australian sweet treats bringing a sense of nostalgia, while traditional Indian restaurant Zayna will be bringing the best of India to Marylebone with their eclectic menu.
The evenings will see the garden come to life from 4pm with festive performances from gospel choirs, to instrumental brass band performances, carols and joyful Christmas songs to ensure the spirit of Christmas is felt by all.
There will also be ticketed masterclasses including wreath making, cupcake decorating, Christmas card making and eco-friendly sessions including recycled paper decorations, Christmas cracker, garland and textile tree making throughout the three-day event for people to enjoy and get together with loved ones to celebrate Christmas in a creative way. All ticket costs will be donated to Marylebone Food Cycle, a
local charity that focuses on making food poverty, loneliness and food waste a thing of the past for every community.
Visitors will also be able to browse a curated selection of Christmas gifts from a range of independent and unique brands who will be popping up in a dedicated Christmas market exclusively over the three-day event. The market will showcase a taste of the wider Christmas gift offerings in Portman Marylebone and is certain to inspire guests beginning their Christmas shopping.
