Margarita Day with Tequila Herradura and Casa Pastor

Calling all Margarita maestros and the cocktail curious: Herradura is introducing a brand-new take on the much-loved classic tequila cocktail this Margarita day – 22nd February- in partnership with El Pastor.

Presenting the Maximo Margarita – blending beautifully aged Herradura Reposado with the citrus-sweetness of triple sec and sharpness of grapefruit juice, grapefruit bitters and lime juice - creates an elevated and invigorating twist on the iconic cocktail.

Herradura Reposado imparts a characteristically sweet flavour of vanilla and butterscotch, with spiced notes of cinnamon and anise. Aged for an extended time of 11 months, to create a distinctively rich and smooth finish.

Exclusive to El Pastor, the margarita can be enjoyed alongside delicious dishes hailing from Mexico City. The El Pastor family consists of four Mexican taquerias in London, with locations in Soho, London Bridge and Kings Cross. Inspired by the founders’ travels in Mexico City - the restaurants offer tacos, tostadas, quesadillas, mezcal, tequila and a lively ambience that echoes the vivacity of the Mexican capital.

Available from 15th February-15th March, head to El Pastor to sample this one-of-a-kind creation and be transported to the sun-soaked agave fields of Jalisco and Hacienda of Tequila Herradura.

Furthermore, those who sample the delights of the Maximo Margarita will have the chance to enter a competition to win a Mexican private dining experience at Quo Vadis, hosted by Herradura, by simply sharing their contact details with the staff at El Pastor.
