Music Audio Stories presents Storytime with Anna Christina - Pyjamarama

Join award-winning storyteller, Anna Christina, for two live musical readings of Music Audio Stories!

On Friday 13th May, children all around the country – in schools, nurseries and at home – will spend the day reading and sharing stories, all in the comfort of their pyjamas! This is a super fun way to encourage children to get excited about reading and to help raise vital funds for BookTrust to help every child get a bedtime story.

BookTrust is the UK’s largest children’s reading charity. They are dedicated to getting children reading. Each year they reach 3.9 million children across the UK with books, resources and support to help develop a love of reading.

Here are five great reasons for getting involved:

. Taking part in Pyjamarama gives schools, nurseries, libraries, clubs, parents and carers a great way to encourage children to read for pleasure.
2. This year, BookTrust will provide some exciting new video content to watch either in the classroom, assembly or at home.
3. By getting involved, you can raise vital funds to help make sure that no child misses out on their bedtime story.
4. A day in pyjamas is easy and fun to organise: all you need to do is to keep children in their pyjamas on 13 May and donate £1 to support the BookTrusts work getting more children reading.
5. Children have experienced so much disruption to their lives over the past two years – taking part in Pyjamarama not only helps you to focus on reading, but it also helps children who are most in need to get a bedtime story.

Anna Christina will be reading the Music Audio Story, Bookworms, which is about library bugs reading, and a bedtime story, Goodnight Sleet Tight, over the music soundtracks of each story.
