Queen's Baton Relay and family sports themed event

On 4 June, join the excitement as the Birmingham 2022 Queen’s Baton Relay comes to the City of London before continuing its journey towards the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. Follow the Queen’s Baton Relay from Blackfriars Pier (around 12.15pm) to Paternoster Square, near St Paul’s Cathedral.
Enjoy a free family-friendly event in Paternoster Square from 12noon-3pm, with a range of fun sporting and cultural activities. Pose for pictures with the Baton! Watch stunning sports-themed street theatre including Doubles – a stunning collision of dance and table tennis – and the Bureau of Silly Ideas’ Shirt and Squirt static bicycle challenge.

Try out some sports for yourself with London Lions - the capital's only pro basketball team, and sports charity Grassroots Sports.
