“SLOVO” HOUSE: UNFINISHED NOVEL – UK PREMIERE (SUPPORTING UKRAINE AND OTHER COUNTRIES IN CONFLICT ZONES)

(Director: Taras Tomenko)

(Starring: Dmytro Oliynyk, Viacheslav Dovzhenko & Nina Naboka)

1927. Soviet Ukraine. The most outstanding Ukrainian writers live in comfortable apartments. All of them become participants in an experiment aimed at deriving a new type of Soviet writer with total control over the creative process. Based on real event this is a story of the “executed renaissance” of Ukrainian art and literature in the 1920’s, an introspection on the eternal theme of the relationship between authority and power and the determination of a people to survive.
