The event will be hosted at The Conscious Edit in partnership with The Crown Estate, as part of our closing festival, and followed by other inspiring speakers, networking, and a DJ line up.

Hear how Chloe, Uniqlo, Vivienne Westwood and others have created products that are changing lives, learn how they have combined success with impact, and connect with the experts who can help you to make a difference. Including Chiara Tufano from Vivienne Westwood on their Made in Kenya collection, and Heidi Christ, MADE51 Lead, UNHCR, The UN Refugee Agency, on their refugee made collections with leading brands.

Today, a record-breaking 100 million people worldwide have been forced to flee their homes due to conflict, violence and persecution, propelled by the war in Ukraine and other deadly conflicts. Whenever refugees flee their homes, they leave behind their livelihoods, which are critical for self-reliance. Through MADE51, UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, is working with global brands and retailers to create opportunities in the handmade sector for forcibly displaced people.
