The Colour of Transformation is a groundbreaking documentary introducing seven pioneering women of the Global Majority sharing their personal stories as they pursue careers in the fields of conservation, land justice, the outdoors and natural history. After agriculture, the conservation industry is the second least diverse sector in the UK. The documentary is accompanied by an inspiring multi-disciplinary artist film fusing spoken word poetry, dance and music to challenge dominant stereotypes about who ‘belongs’ in these spaces. The Colour of Transformation is presented as part of Black History Month and is supported by Butterfly Conservation, the William Morris Gallery and Patagonia.
