On Monday 6th February, Mastercard, headline sponsor of The BRIT Awards for 25 years, invites you to The Digital Junction - an evening merging the digital and physical worlds of music and showcasing the next generation of talent.

Breaking boundaries between music and technology, futuristic digital artist VNCCII will perform a never seen before show. The metaverse inspired performance will encompass fresh sounds and the latest in virtual design to give a sneak peek into what the future of music could look like. VNCCII’s act will be brought to guests via the custom Unreal Engine (by Epic Games) environment built for virtual performances.

To further bridge the worlds of technology and traditional performance, an assemblage of creative talent will be on show via spoken word, poetry, singing and digital design from some of the brightest stars from The BRIT School.

Mastercard’s Digital Junction will be hosted at The Lower Third, found on the historic Denmark Street, also known as London’s Tin Pan Alley. The iconic venue has also been home to a collection of iconic musicians who made their names throughout the years, such as Adele, Amy Winehouse as well as Jeff Buckley, who themselves are BRIT School Alumni.

Agnes Woolrich, Vice President, Marketing & Communications, UK&I says: “As headline sponsor of The BRIT Awards, we are always looking to find new and exciting ways for fans to explore and experience their passion for music. We’re excited to showcase how the latest innovative technologies offer a whole new realm and opportunity for artists and fans alike, setting the scene for the next generation of musical talent.”

VNCCII, futuristic digital avatar and immersive artist says: ‘’I'm excited to play a small part in the development of music in the digital world, mixing my passion for music with the progression of life in the Metaverse. The idea that music and performing is only something we can see in real life or listen to on streaming platforms is now not the case - there are so many possibilities, and I can’t wait to see where new technology will take us and the new artists that will emerge.’
