In celebration of its 5th birthday and unwavering commitment to the world of art, Bankside Hotel is inviting the public and guests alike to visit its free and new "Art of Belonging" exhibition within the hotel’s underground White Box event space.

Curated by Bankside’s partners, the Contemporary Collective, ‘The Art of Belonging’ goes beyond showcasing the remarkable talents of emerging artists. It is a heartfelt tribute to the artists that have called Bankside their home as part of their ongoing “Artists in Residence” scheme over the past five years, a dedicated studio space for local emerging artists to develop their creative process, showcase and share their passions with guests.

The collection of 20 diverse artworks stands as a testament to the hotel’s strapline ‘#Where you Belong’, a statement that reflects the hotel’s aspiration to make everyone feel and home and to create a space where art, culture, and community converge, offering a truly immersive, thought-provoking and visually stunning experience to engage and inspire all that step inside the hotel.

The exhibition is open to the public from 11 October 2023 to Spring 2024 and will be free of charge. After visiting the exhibition, Bankside Hotel encourages visitors to take advantage of its Culture Curious offer and pop upstairs for 20% off food and drink at its Art Yard Bar and Kitchen. The menu features a range of options including signature wood fired pizzettes, slow-cooked wood-fired beef brisket and pan-fried salmon, and there’s s a two-course art-themed children’s menu for little ones.

Those travelling from afar are advised to contact the hotel to check opening times and plan their visit accordingly.
