Volunteer with us to help tackle food waste in your community!
Since 2020, Sustainable Merton has run Merton’s first Community Fridge, which takes and redistributes high-quality surplus food from local businesses that would otherwise go to waste.
As we continue to grow, we are looking for individuals to join us as a volunteer Fridge Friend.
What will a food collection volunteer be doing?
Assist with receiving food from our food collection volunteers and
Fareshare; recording and storing food safely in our storage facility at Morden Baptist Church.

Event Times
Various food collection times available on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Volunteers can drop off their collections anytime between 10 - 11.30am on Wednesdays or before 1pm on Thursday.
