Felix Project - Volunteer Driver

We are a London charity working with businesses to rescue their good quality surplus food - food that would otherwise go to waste - and deliver it free of charge to hundreds of local charities and schools in London.

Thanks to thousands of generous donors and volunteers, last year we delivered over 30 million meals to feed vulnerable Londoners.

Do you enjoy driving? Are you looking for a fulfilling, flexible volunteer opportunity in London where you can make a real difference to a community near you?

We’re urgently looking for Volunteer Drivers to help collect food that would have otherwise been wasted and deliver it to charities and schools across London.

Felix’s Volunteer Drivers are a vital part of our operations.

Volunteer Driver: Drive one of our vans, collecting surplus food and delivering it to local charities and schools. Drivers must be able to drive a van confidently and meet our criteria.

Volunteer Co-Driver: Assist the driver with loading and unloading deliveries. You’ll get to see where Felix food goes & who it helps first-hand!

Green Scheme driving - morning, mid-day, afternoon and evening shifts available. Shifts are 2 - 4 hours long.
Warehouse driving - morning, mid-day and afternoon shifts available. Shifts are 4 -5 hours long.

All operations run Monday-Friday, plus there are Saturday driving shifts across the warehouses (except in Poplar) and Sunday driving shifts in Park Royal.
