South Place Hotel Artist Collaboration with Real Hackney Dave x Love Bomb

Revered print artist Dave Buonaguidi, aka ‘Real Hackney Dave’ will be showcasing his iconic artwork exhibition - the Love Bomb at South Place Hotel from February 1st, 2024. Launching in the month of love, the collaboration will be hosted in the main hotel lobby and entrance hall as a permanent fixture for six months.

Dave Buonaguidi started life as an artist after a successful career in advertising and today is one of the most prolific and iconic artists in London - using his print screen artwork to tell engaging stories around mass communication and propaganda to create evocative pieces that connect in an emotive and humourous way.

The Love Bomb X Real Hackney Dave exhibition will be on display from Thursday 1st February until the end of July and will be open to the public for visitors to pop in and enjoy as well as hotel guests. South Place Hotel welcomes guests to make a full day out from their visit, viewing The Love Bomb and then relaxing in 3 Bar to sip on a special Love Bomb molecular cocktail, made from Pink and Gold neon and featuring dry ice for a theatrical serve.

Visitors can expect to see the iconic Love Bomb sculpture in the stunning lobby entrance hall and limited print editions, some of which are printed onto paper or onto pre-printed items such as old advertising signs or ordinance survey maps which are unique and original. There will also be original one-off pieces in the collection which are vintage, found ephemera, with a past life of their own.

South Place hotel has the perfect canvas to showcase artwork from local London artists to world renowned art collections, for guests and visitors benefit to see exciting, limited editions or up-and-coming new artists onto the London art scene.
