Join naturalist, author and academic Stephen Moss for this full day introduction to nature writing workshop.
You’ll learn how to capture your experiences, thoughts and feelings using the written word, and share your passion with others.

The day begins with a brief introduction to the skills and techniques of writing, after which we’ll head out around London Wetland Centre to get inspiration from what we find. You’ll then have time to write a short piece, which we’ll workshop in the group, to improve your work, and offer hints and tips for you to develop as a writer.

The day will end with a whistle-stop tour of the nature writing genre, to give you inspiration to continue.
This course is suitable for anyone who has always wanted to write about nature and is willing to have a go!
Dates: Wednesday 22 May, Thursday 23 May
