Street Dance Academy Day Camp

Let Me Play are proud to announce a brand new Street Dance Academy to run in Hammersmith this summer.

Time: 12 – 4 PM
Ages: 11 - 19

Let Me Play have teamed up with urban dance professionals to set up a brand new Street Dance Academy open to all young people aged 11 – 19 for Summer 2010.

The five day dance camp will provide young people who love to dance with an intense urban dance experience surrounded by music, showcases, performances, master classes and hip-hop culture.

The camp is open to dancers of all abilities, from beginners to advanced, and participants will get the opportunity to work with top industry professionals to learn and develop new skills and understand what it takes to be a top dancer.

Participants can expect to learn about and be involved in:

* Dance off battle competitions
* Choreography challenges
* Sessions that teach the importance of stage presence
* A history of the culture of hip-hop and street dance
* Master-classes in specific styles of urban dance such as breakdance, popping and locking
* End of camp showcase and
* Awards ceremony

The five day camp is free to attend but there are only 50 places available and participants must pre register by completing an application form and submitting.
