Three very special Valentines nights, suitable for both those looking for love, and those fortunate enough to have already found it. We have secured several fabulously generous sponsors for these nights, including Purely Roses, Thomas Pink, SommelierCellar, Artisan du Chocolat and cult lingerie brand, What Katie Did, so expect presents and prizes as well as some remarkable performances from Cat Weatherill, Vergine Gulbenkian and Daniel Marcus Clark.

‘Bedtime Story Nights’ have been running on a monthly basis at 40 Winks since June 2009, and have had recommendations and rave reviews in The Evening Standard, The Independent, The Telegraph, The Saturday Times, The Guardian, The Wall Street Journal, Stylist, Tatler, Marie Claire, Harper’s Bazaar, Time Out, Le Cool and too many other publications to mention…. They have even been included in the Sunday Times Travel Magazine list of the 14 most amazing things to do in the world!!

If you haven’t been before, we really want to know why… because they are quite simply brilliant and extraordinary. And if you have, then you don’t need us to tell you that tickets are rarer than a mermaid whistling Rule Britannia on a hot summer’s day, and early booking is absolutely essential.

Our story nights are a totally unique experience in London, bursting with genuine charm, warmth and humour. We work with a fantastic team of professional storytellers, actors and musicians assembled by our Curator of Ever More Curious Tales, Miss Rachel Rose Reid, and the very charming Mr Carter. Our latest programme has been fiendishly devised to have you squealing with delight for months to come, so do please come and join us soon.

A very strict dresscode of pyjamas and nighties is rigorously enforced, so do bring something deliciously inappropriate along to wear otherwise you may be compelled by Mr Carter to stand outside in the cold. Benefit Cosmetics generously sponsor our ‘Most Glamorous Nightie Award’, and the prize is worth a staggering £300, so it is well worth making an effort to impress and seduce. We would suggest bringing along a small cushion, a teddy bear and anything else that makes you feel warm and cosy. We do set aside a couple of rooms for boys and girls to change in, so if you don't fancy the idea of transporting yourselves here already dressed in your boudoir attire, we will provide a space where you can do this without making a spectacle of yourself.
