Body of Work, a dance theatre response to the global epidemic of body unease. Choreographed by Maddy Wynne-Jones and set to an original score by Halogen, Body Of Work explores the increasing global pressure to perfect and design our bodies, as they become less where we live from and more what we can personally manufacture.

Tempered Body Dance Theatre, “trailblazers in terms of quality work” (Libby Costello, LondonDance), have been gaining momentum since their beginning in 2007. Founded by Canadian choreographer Maddy Wynne-Jones, the company has been Resident Company of Chisenhale Dance Space since 2009, and in Aprill 2011 became Associate Company of Rich Mix. Body of Work, the company’s most ambitious piece to date, pushes physical and emotional boundaries and amplifies the integrity of our corporeal force.
