It's the dawn of a new century, and Britain is plagued by political turmoil, social division and religious intolerance. A small group of indignant, angry and fanatical young men plan to commit an unspeakable act of terrorism in the name of God. Their target is a national landmark, a structure which serves as a symbol of the wealth and power of the establishment. They hope that its destruction will send shockwaves throughout the country, and change the politcal and religious face of Britaian forever. Sound familiar?

This ambitious new play investigates the relationship between religious piety and acts of extreme violence. 5/11 examines how in times of adversity and persecution, zealous devotion can turn believers into barbarians, capable of commiting mass murder in the name of faith. With a twisting plot full of political intrigue, espionage and subterfuge, 5/11 will have you on the edge of your seat throughout.
