Enjoy open-air free film screenings at the king of alfresco venues The Scoop at More London, the riverside amphitheatre. Now in its 9th year, the More London Free Film Festival is part of the More London Free Festival which entertains thousands every summer with free theatre, music and film.

Free film season kicks off on Wednesday 14th September with an eclectic mix of classic, cult and contemporary films rarely shown elsewhere in a location unlike any other. This purpose-built, sunken, 1000-seater riverside amphitheatre on the South Bank offers stunning views of the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. Where better to sit back, relax, and watch one of your favourite films on a 25ft cinema screen?

More London Free Film Festival at The Scoop – Films will be screened from 7.30pm every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 14-30th September:

Wed 14 Sept - Alice in Wonderland (2010, Cert PG)
Thur 15 Sept - The King’s Speech (2010, Cert 12A)
Fri 16 Sept - Dirty Dancing (1987, Cert 12A) - this was rained off in 2010
Wed 21 Sept - The Illusionist (2010, Cert PG)
Thur 22 Sept - The Social Network (2010, Cert 12A)
Fri 23 Sept - The African Queen (1951, Cert PG)
Wed 28 Sept - The Manchurian Candidate (1962, Cert 12A)
Thur 29 Sept - Grease (1978, Cert PG)
Fri 30 Sept - True Grit (2010, Cert 15)

No need to book, no ticket required - just turn up (arrive early to avoid disappointment), take your seat, and watch the credits role... Cushions are available for hire and food and drink can be purchased at the entrance and you are welcome to bring your own picnic (but no glass please!).
