Gwilym Simcock: Compositions
Clark Rundell conductor
Gwilym Simcock piano
The final concert in our brand new series designed to appeal to those who like their live music experiences to be intimate and informal and who enjoy a glass of wine while listening! This concert showcases the stunning improvisation skills of leading British jazz pianist Gwilym Simcock, alongside Milhaud's La Creation du Monde, a story of creation based on African folk mythology, and the work of the prolific English composer, Mark-Anthony Turnage.
These concerts are an opportunity to get closer to one of London's leading orchestras with 'talking' programme notes throughout the performance, post concert entertainment and discussion, as well as the chance to mingle with our musicians.
Please note there will be no traditional concert seating
