London A Cappella Festival 2012

The festival is the first of its kind in the capital dedicated to the many forms of a cappella. Curated by the world-famous 5-time Grammy-winning vocal group the Swingle Singers and Ikon Arts Management, the London A Cappella Festival runs annually at Kings Place and welcomes some of the finest international talent of the a cappella world.

The London A Cappella Festival 2012 will showcase some of the best of choral, jazz, contemporary and beatbox ensembles, with music ranging from choral opulence to British Barbershop and soulful jazz to ground-shaking beatbox. Headline acts include a cappella rock sensation FORK, cool Canadian rat pack Cadence, all-female beatbox vocal group The Boxettes as well as festival hosts the Swingle Singers, not to mention performances by the Vasari Singers,Cottontown Chorus and the London Vocal Project. Following overwhelming demand we will pack in even more events this year to include workshops, foyer events and a panel discussion.
