• Final act of the Sailor Jerry Presents series for 2011

Sailor Jerry Presents Cerebral Ballzy complete the line-up for this year’s Sailor Jerry music series, with the five piece heading to The Macbeth, Hoxton on Thursday 10th November.

Brooklyn punks Cerebral Ballzy will give London a real taste of NY by bringing their riotous brand of 80’s hardcore and punk rock to an eager Hoxton crowd. Performing a wide range of tracks from their self-titled debut album ‘Cerebral Ballzy’, the crew that have been described as ‘Brooklyn’s wildest band’ are sure to finish the Sailor Jerry Presents series with an almighty bang.

Cerebral Ballzy along with all Sailor Jerry Presents... acts, share the attitude and energy shared by the late Norman ‘Sailor Jerry’ Collins, the tattoo pioneer known to many as simply ‘The Man’.

The band, led by energetic frontman Honor Titus, will demonstrate the true meaning of Collins’ motto of ‘Originate, don’t imitate’. As the band unleash a relentless onslaught of hardcore rock and fast-paced punk, Sailor Jerry will be mixing classic serves of Sailor & cola and Sailor & ginger which will be on offer throughout the night - with a couple on the house to kickstart the night

The Sailor Jerry Presents gig series follows a long association with music in the UK and the US. Sailor Jerry rum works with like-minded musicians and artists who share an approach to authenticity, dedication and non-conformist attitude. Cerebral Ballzy join a list of bands who have performed in the past two years, including The King Blues, Pulled Apart by Horses, The Joy Formidable and Mystery Jets, who have since gone on to secure wider critical acclaim.
